Pinterest is one of the hottest new social networks in the world. Even Mark Zuckerberg – Facebook’s co-founder and CEO joined it a few day ago. So if you are developers / technical people, it’s unvaluable to have a look on Pinterest APIs.  The official reference is located here http://pinterest.com/developers/api/ But at this time, these APIs is not yet generally available, because the Oauth authorization endpoint is disabled. Therefore, we posted here several API screenshots we got before it’s closed!

So what can you do with this Pinterest API? It looks like you can’t quite build your own Pinterest site, but you can do most things you’ve probably hoped to do. Check above screenshots to get ideas about:

  • Follow a brand or user
  • Follow one of their boards
  • Create a brand-specific board
  • Like a specific pin
  • Comment on a specific pin
  • Post a pin (with options to publish to Facebook and Twitter)

Hope to help you have an overview about what Pinterest APIs will be!
